SUMMARY
Pisay student Cara Florentino is struggling academically with several failing grades. Her best friend, the straight-uno serious student, Geneva Pascual, is trying to convince her to continue and not to quit studying— something that is causing a great deal of concern. Meanwhile, in the corporate world, leading scientist Julio Valencia, a top Pisay graduate, is fighting an internal struggle of his own concerning leadership, national scientific progress, and the ever-present shadow of corruption. Less fortunate is his schizophrenic friend and batch mate, Sir Ma Qiu Herrera, the teacher who may be doing his best educating scholars like Cara and Geneva, but whose alter ego is the corrupt politician, Senkatsu. This dark side to him is bent on making the most money out of Dr. Valencia’s scientific breakthroughs meant to help the Philippines.

cool story! sounds like reality with a little bit of twist. sort of a telenovela which is not over the top impossible. i like it!

Awesome film! This is definitely one of the best short films to come out of PMW. The plot is fairly straightforward, but is carried well by the cast. (I just have one tip to the cast — relax!)
